John E. Klein

John E. Klein

John “Jack” E. Klein, 73, of Evans City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Born Jan. 28, 1948, he was the son of Elmer John Klein and Evelyn Ann Miller Klein Korba.

Jack grew up in Mars as an only child. He played football throughout high school and served as a cook in the U.S. Army.Jack married the love of his life on June 28, 1975. He was married to Bonnie Luella Klein for 42 years. A beautiful woman, she made him a better man. He was happy to be her “Elmboo.” After caring for her for several years, in 2017 Bonnie went home to be with the Lord. With her went a lot of Jack's spirit.Jack had three daughters, Carol Ann Baker, Kelly Ann Anderson and Melissa Marie Klein. He was always proud of his girls. Jack always had a special bond with his daughter, Melissa. She cared for him with much love in his final days.Jack had a great relationship with his son-in-law, Bill Anderson, who was honored to have him as a father-in-law and a friend.Jack had three wonderful grandchildren, Bonnie Richelle Anderson, William Paul Anderson Jr. and Breanna Lynn Baker. For Bonnie, being with her Pap meant going to the car wash, shopping, or breakfast at Kountry Kitchen. One of the greatest joys of Jack's life was being a grandpap and spending time with his grandkids.Jack loved cars. He loved his convertibles, and he loved to cruise around with the top down. He was a lover of all animals. He loved feeding the birds and bunnies in his yard. He always loved dogs, and a few that held his heart were Bambie, Shiloh and Brittany.Jack was a simple man; give him his pipe and a beer and he was “all good.” He loved music, football, laughing, joking, playing pool and playing cards. He also loved gardening and taking pictures. To his friends, his Resolite Crew, his pals at the VFW Post 499, and the Hungarian Club, his love and respect for you still lives on.Jack was a friend, a co-worker, a husband, a son, a father and a grandfather. He was my Dad. He was the man who taught me to ride a bike, catch a ball and drive a car. He never left an “I Love You” unspoken. He taught me through action that faith is not only church on Sunday, and that love is so much more than a word; it is a way of being. For my Dad's life on Earth, for the time I had with him, and for the life he lives now in Heaven, I give thanks to God. We all love you, Bubba.KLEIN — Private funeral arrangements for John “Jack” E.
