Frank Martin Miller, 65, of Slippery Rock Township, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, following an illness.

Frank was born in Ellwood City, on March 3, 1961, to Martin Julius Miller and Betty Virginia Spires Miller.

He married Josephine Belle “Josie” Thompson on Sept. 29, 1978, and she survives at the residence.

Frank attended St. John’s United Methodist Church. He was a truck driver and farmer. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine, at home; three sons, Frank M. (Misty) Miller, of Slippery Rock, Robert J. “Rob” (Julia) Miller, of Harmony, and Brian J. (Destiny) Miller, of Slippery Rock; sisters, Vicki Reiser, of Cooperstown, and Karen Covert, of Ellwood City; brother, Ernest (Linda) Miller, of Butler; sister-in-law, Mary (Glenn) Winkler, of Slippery Rock; brother-in-law, Scott Wright, of Harmony; five grandchildren, Blake, Belle, Robert “Robby,” Matthew and Ivory; and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Debra Wright, Polly Angeletti and Linda Kraus.

The family wishes to extend special recognition to Destiny and Chelsea, of AHN Hospice, for their sincere and loving care.

MILLER — The family of Frank Martin Miller, who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, will receive friends from noon until the time of service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Tai Courtemanche, of St. John’s United Methodist Church, presiding.

Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
