Nov. 19 — Jerry Lynn Roy, 67, of Butler, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Nov. 19 — Robert Arnold Richardon Jr., whose age is not listed, of Petrolia, was charged with statement under penalty for answering incorrectly a firearms form from the ATF while trying to buy a gun.
7:26 p.m. Nov. 18 — Jessie L. Dick, 39, of Prospect, lost control of her car driving north on Portersville Road, resulting in a head-on crash with another car being driven by Stephanie M. Slater, 35, of Prospect. No injuries were reported, but the cars had to be towed away.
6:13 p.m. Nov. 18 — Nicholas Ryan Rowland, 33, of Eau Claire, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. According to a police report, Rowland told police that he became angry with his fiancee’s parents and went to go speak with them armed with a handgun. But Rowland’s fiancée said that he had gone to visit them with the intention of shooting the parents. Rowland only left momentarily before returning to the house with his fiancée. Fearing what might happen, she hid in the bathroom with their three children. Rowland is in Butler County Jail awaiting a hearing. He was unable to post the $10,000 bail.
2:40 p.m. Nov. 18 — Driving East on US422 in Clearfield Township, Robert M. Meluch, 44, of Hubbard, Ohio, hit a deer on the road. The car was damaged, but neither the driver nor the passenger was injured.
7:33 a.m. Nov. 16 — Icy conditions on SR68 led to Kylea R. Toney, 27, of Kittanning, losing control of her car, hitting another car being driven by Paul M. Javor, 43, of Evans City. The two cars were disabled, but no injuries were reported.
7:46 p.m. Nov. 15 — Coming to a curve on Kittanning Pike near the North Country National Scenic Trail in Parker Township, Sarahsue E. Gaberseck, 39, of Parker, lost control of her car, hitting an embankment and flipping over. Gaberseck was removed through the trunk by members of the Parker Fire Department. She was then taken to Karns City EMS for minor injuries.
4:58 p.m. Nov. 14 — Police arrested Clarke James Okinski, 59, of Pittsburgh, near Lindey Road for driving under the influence.
At some point between Nov. 10 and 16, someone stole two guns, a knife and a lantern from a car on Herman Road in Summit Township. According to a police report, the suspect is unknown.

Nov. 19 — Clint Bradley Wynkoop, 38, of Kittanning, faces 11 charges related to driving under the influence and traffic violations. According to a police report, an unmarked police vehicle was driving west on State Route 422 in the fast lane when a car came speeding behind him. The cop moved to the slower, right lane and then immediately tailgated the speeding vehicle, clocking the driver, Wynkoop, at 79 mph all the way up to 92 mph. The speed limit there was 55 mph. When police pulled Wynkoop over, they noted that he had a “slow, low and raspy speech,” with “droopy eyelids” and small pupils. All of this plus alcohol tests led police to arrest him.
Butler Township
5:37 p.m. Nov. 19 — Michael Young, 43, of Butler, was charged with simple assault and harassment after, police said, he punched a woman in the face. The woman did not require medical attention.
5:13 p.m. Nov. 19 — Jeanne Kepple, 71, of Hilliard, didn’t stop in time at a red light on East Jefferson Street and Hospital Way. She rear ended the stopped car in front of her that was being driven by Louis Palumbo, 32, of Kittanning. Palumbo’s car had to be towed away, but no injuries were reported.
11:25 a.m. Nov. 19 — 87-year-old Glenn Greenawalt of Renfrew injured himself by driving into a parking lot pole in Moraine Pointe Plaza near Giant Eagle. He declined medical attention and his vehicle was severely damaged in the front and had to be towed away.
10:22 p.m. Nov. 17 — Three people were charged with disorderly conduct and harassment for a fight that happened on Randolph Street. Among those charged were Jessica Claypool, 24, of Lyndora, Brianna O’Malley, 22, of Butler, and Dawn O’Malley, 49, of Butler. No injuries were reported.
9:10 p.m. Nov. 13 — Torin Michael Basham, 18, of Butler, and a 17-year old were charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after police received a call about a suspicious car. The minor was released to a parent. From the car in which the teens were riding, police confiscated small amounts of marijuana, a glass bong, a glass pipe, a rainbow color pipe, two Garcia Vega cigars and an empty baggie, among other items.
5:21 p.m. Nov. 2 — Sandra Lee Chesmer, 68, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft for attempting to steal a bottle of water and a magazine from Walmart. The total value was $6.99. The charge was elevated to a felony because this is the 11th time Chesmer has committed this crime.

9:17 Nov. 18 — Payden Michael Hinchberger, 29, of Butler, was charged with a felony of strangulation and a misdemeanor of simple assault after police said he attacked a woman in Butler. According to police reports, an argument between the two over money escalated when Hinchberger threw a beer at the woman and began stabbing a Christmas decoration with a knife. He then began slapping the woman, pinned her up against a wall and strangling her until she was nearly unconscious. Hinchberger ran away before police arrived at the home, where they found red marks on the woman’s neck. She had trouble breathing. Within the hour, police were back at the house where they found Hinchberger attempting to kick in the front door and they arrested him.

Oct. 23 — Jacob Urias Vandevort-Renfroth, 29, of Butler, was charged with a felony manufacturing drug charge and a misdemeanor drug possession. An undercover officer purchased heroin from Vandevort-Renfroth, according to police.
