1:37 a.m. Tuesday — Delmar E. Silk, 59, who has no known address, was arrested after he allegedly broke into a vehicle at a home on the 100 block of West North Street.
The owner told police that he was notified by a friend that someone was in his car. He went outside and found his glove box open and items strewn around, according to court documents, but nothing was apparently missing.
He reported that he believed the suspect was nearby sleeping under the stairs and wearing no shirt.
Police got there and found Silk lying under a set of steps. They believed he was intoxicated and arrested him for public drunkenness. Silk also is charged with attempted theft from a vehicle.
[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]
2:08 a.m. Tuesday — Zechariah J. Bybee, 22, of Slippery Rock allegedly was caught with suspected marijuana and other contraband following a traffic stop on South Center Street.
Bybee is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a lighting violation.

July 15 — Police obtained an arrest warrant for a Pittsburgh woman accused of taking a man’s sport utility vehicle from a home on Jefferson Township.
The owner of the green Honda CRV, valued at $600, according to court documents, told police that Jamie E. Harris, 35, took the vehicle after they got into an argument July 14. He said she did not have his permission to take it.
The investigating trooper later spoke to Harris on the telephone, and “she stated she would not be returning the vehicle due to it breaking down off (Route) 28,” a police affidavit said.
Police noted that the defendant gave the trooper a bogus name, and she had a suspended driver’s license.
Harris is charged in the warrant with a felony count of theft. She also is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, false identification to law enforcement authorities, driving under suspension and driving without a license.
July 6 — Michael T. Pintirsch, 27, of Jefferson Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Buffalo Township. Police said he was stopped about 12:50 a.m. June 13 for weaving in between construction markers and for cutting off another vehicle on Route 28 north.
Pintirsch failed field sobriety tests and he was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, for a blood test. Toxicology results showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.139 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.
He is charged with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, making an improper turn, careless driving and reckless driving.
July 13 — A Pittsburgh man was charged with driving on drugs in connection with a May traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Carl A. Wildey, 54, was stopped after police said they got a call for an erratic driver traveling north on Route 28.
When questioned, according to court documents, Wildey told police that he is prescribed methadone. He subsequently failed field sobriety tests. A search of his sport utility vehicle turned up a small amount of suspected marijuana and a drug-smoking device.
Police took the defendant to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, for a blood test. Toxicology results showed he had marijuana and methadone in his system.
Wildey is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.
July 13 — An Allegheny County man was charged with drugged driving stemming from a traffic stop last month on Route 28 south just south of the Buffalo bridge in Buffalo Township.
Police said the defendant, David W. Hopper, 28, of Tarentum, was pulled over about 7:30 p.m. June 23 for a possible window tint violation on his pickup truck. He appeared impaired, according to court documents, and admitted that he had smoked crack cocaine within the past “couple hours,”
A trooper seized a crack pipe that was in one of Hopper’s pants pockets. Police said he also acknowledged that he takes methadone.
Following a drug recognition expert’s evaluation, documents said, Hopper was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County, for a blood test. Toxicology results showed he had cocaine and fentanyl in his system.
Hopper is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving a vehicle with unsafe equipment.
