Ellen Lorraine Fleming

Ellen Lorraine Fleming, 63, of Harmony passed away unexpectedly May 22 at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Born April 17, 1955, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late James Harold Cunningham and Kathryn Lorraine Trimble Cunningham.

Ellen had a master's degree in human resources management and worked in that field for 36 years, retiring in 2015 from Honeywell Corp. in Fombell.

Ellen was her immediate family's historian, served on the Zelienople Public Library Board, was an active member of the YMCA, a former member of numerous professional organizations, a 23-year breast cancer survivor and an organ donor.

She liked to cook, travel, read, kayak, snorkel, hike and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Ellen leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Virgil Fleming, whom she married Dec. 9, 1978; her stepsons, Bradley C. Fleming of Zelienople and Ryan S. Fleming of Freedom; her siblings, Dennis J. (Judy) Cunningham and Linda Wahl, both of Zelienople; her grandchildren, Jordan Zenda, Tyler Fleming and Isaac Fleming; and 12 nieces and nephews.

FLEMING — Friends of Ellen Lorraine Fleming, who died Tuesday May 22, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor David McQuaid officiating.Memorial contributions in Ellen's honor may be made to Zelienople Public Library, 227 S.
