Cristal Irene (Claypoole) Anthony, 47, of Indio, Calif., formerly of Chicora, cherished mother, daughter, sister and friend, went to her eternal resting place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Cristal was born on June 1, 1976, in Butler. She was the beloved daughter of Kenneth E. and Ruth I. Claypoole.

She was a graduate of Karns City High School, Class of 1995. She moved to California in 2007 to pursue her dreams, career and warmer weather. She was employed at the Fantasy Casino as a professional card dealer.

Cristal was a selfless person who would help anyone that needed it. She had an avid love for animals, especially her two boxers, Nipsey and Nova. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing board games, and having movie weekends with her son and his family. She took great joy when her parents came to visit, showing them all of the beauty that California had to offer and in the shopping trips/spa days with her mom for girl time. She always had words of love and encouragement for everyone around her.

She is survived by her son, Seth Anthony, his partner, Jade Jones, and her son, Ryder Jones, who lovingly referred to Cristal as “Glam-ma,” of Huntington Beach, Calif. She is also survived by her parents, two brothers, Robert Logue and Brian Logue, and a sister, Jennifer (Nichole) Amerson, all of Chicora; two nephews, Dylan Logue and Devan (Kayte) Logue; and a niece, Madison Ashbaugh; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving are her very best friend, Erin (Matt) Leasher, and her friends who became family in California.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Valetta Claypoole; maternal grandmother, Mabel Hackbarth; and a niece, Brianna “Annie” Logue.
