8:17 p.m. Sunday — Gregory L. Jordan, 52, was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman stemming from a domestic dispute call at his home on the 200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.

Police accused Jordan of leaving a voice mail on the victim’s phone, according to court documents, saying that he was “coming for her and that she should be in fear for her life because nobody, not even the feds or state can help you.”

Officers said they found the defendant standing in the doorway in back of the home. He appeared to be “highly intoxicated,” police said. When asked for his name, he replied, “Don Juan.” He subsequently told police his real name.

Jordan was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, false identification to law enforcement authorities and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.

May 21 — Police charged two men with having heroin in connection with a traffic stop last month on the 100 block of East Cunningham Street.

Police said they stopped 45-year-old old Aaron L. Spencer’s sport utility vehicle for having an expired registration. They soon found out that his driver’s license was suspended.

Additionally, according to court documents, Spencer’s passenger, David M. Ridinger, 38, was wanted on a bench warrant in Armstrong County.

Ridinger was searched, police said, and found with 14 stamp bags and four empty bags of suspected heroin. He also allegedly had a plastic bag containing suspected cocaine.

A search of the SUV, documents said, turned up a heroin shooting kit, which contained four bags and numerous empty bags of suspected heroin, cooking spoons and syringes

Under the driver’s seat, police said, was a cigarette pack containing more empty bags of suspected heroin.

Ridinger was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant. Police also charged him with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Spencer is charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a vehicle without valid inspection.
