Monday — Troy A. Cornman Jr., 32, of Freeport was arraigned on charges he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home last month.
Police were called about 8 a.m. March 18 to investigate the report of a man on the roof of the alleged victim’s home in the 400 block of West Wayne Street, according to court documents.
The woman told police that Cornman opened a bedroom window and entered the room “with half of his body through the window,” according to documents.
Cornman is charged with burglary, trespass, stalking and harassment. He was released on his own recognizance following arraignment.

April 19 — Carly S. Sharrer, 22, of Butler was charged with being more than twice the state’s legal limit for alcohol stemming from an accident on South Main Street last month. She is accused of backing her vehicle into another vehicle about 11:35 p.m. March 24 at the Ginger Hill Tavern parking lot.
Sharrer later failed field sobriety tests and admitted, according to court documents, that she “drank too much.” She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.
Toxicology tests showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.203 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.
She is charged with driving under the influence and improperly backing up a vehicle.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Butler[/naviga:h3]
Monday — A Lawrence County man was charged with taking 15 wooden barn planks earlier this month in Muddy Creek Township.
Police allege Mark A. Domhoff, 50, of Ellwood City on April 12 drove his pickup truck to the barn on West Portersville Road and removed the planks valued at a combined $1,500, according to court documents.
He is charged with first-degree misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property, and summary counts of trespass and driving with a suspended license-DUI related.
Monday — An Allegheny County woman was charged with drunken and drugged driving stemming from a one-vehicle crash in February on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.
Police said they were called about 3:45 a.m. Feb. 18 for a car in the median. Troopers found the car but no one was around. The vehicle had disabling damage to the front passenger side and the front passenger tire was missing.
Kayla A Brecosky, 20, of South Park was later identified and admitted that she had struck a guardrail before the car ended up in the median. She claimed that she “did not know what to do,” court documents said, so she and her passenger got a ride to Slippery Rock.
Police noted that Brecosky did not report the crash. She also allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana before the wreck.
She failed field sobriety tests, documents said, and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Toxicology tests confirmed she had marijuana in her system.
Additionally, her blood-alcohol level was 0.065 percent. In Pennsylvania, drivers under age 21 are considered to be intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent.
Brecosky is charged with driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol, DUI, underage drinking, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, disregarding traffic lanes and driving at an unsafe speed.
11:40 p.m. April 19 — A Kentucky man was arrested for driving on drugs in Summit Township. Police said they stopped Kenneth S. Snead II, 25, of Louisville for driving too slowly on Bonniebrook Road.
A trooper, who was behind the defendant’s car, clocked Snead traveling as slowly as 22 mph in a 45 mph zone on the road, which impeded the flow of traffic, court documents said.
Police said the defendant stopped his car on the road without turning on his hazard lights. He allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day and subsequently showed impairment during field sobriety testing.
He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Toxicology results are pending.
In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, he is charged with driving too slow for conditions, careless driving, failing to use hazard lights when required
[naviga:h3]State Police, New Castle[/naviga:h3]
Monday — Bryan R. Greene, 51, of Slippery Rock was charged with drugged driving stemming from an incident last month in Butler County.
Police said they were conducting a crash investigation on New Castle Road in Worth Township about 7:25 a.m. March 1 when Greene drove into the scene in a pickup truck. An officer yelled at him to stop. He did.
The defendant was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, failing to keep right, careless driving and reckless driving,
When asked why he had driven into the scene of the investigation, told police that he was tired and headed home, according to court documents. Police said they noticed a Suboxone strip in the truck’s cup holder and smelled marijuana on Greene.
Field sobriety testing indicated impairment and Greene was arrested for suspicion of driving on drugs. He was searched, police said, and found with a baggie of marijuana, a baggie of cocaine, two syringes and other contraband.
He later was given a blood test.
