Man arrested in domestic dispute
Zelienople police arrested a Harmony man Monday for assault, after officers were called to an ongoing domestic incident and found his wife with injuries.
Christopher Kuglics, 44, of Harmony is charged with assault and harassment after his wife told police that he had choked her and punched their television.
Kuglics was in Butler County Prison on a $10,000 bail.
Arresting officer Wayne Magill arrived at Kuglics’ residence after receiving reports of an ongoing domestic dispute, according to his report.
He was met at the door by Kuglics, who told officers that his wife had been drinking, according to documents. She accused him of attacking her and breaking her phone and television.
“I observed that the (television) screen had been damaged,” Magill said. “I asked (her) how this occurred and she replied Christopher punched it.”
She also accused Kuglics of throwing her phone on the floor, and then accused him of choking her.
Kuglics’ preliminary hearing will be Jan. 30.
