Concord Township man accused of sexually assaulting girl for about 2 years
A Concord Township man is accused of sexually assaulting a girl for about two years when she was between the ages of five and seven.
Brandon John Lindenberger, 36, was charged Friday, Sept. 18, by state police with one felony count each of aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault, corruption of minors and child endangerment; and misdemeanor indecent exposure following an investigation that began in July.
Police received a ChildLine report regarding the incident July 21 and interviewed the girl, now 10, Aug. 5. The girl told police the incidents happened at Lindenberger’s home between October 2020 and June 2023.
Lindenberger was between 30 and 32 years old during the incidents, police said.
The girl told police Lindenberger would tell her to change her clothes in his bedroom and would touch her inappropriately. The girl said she would feel pain during the incidents, but Lindenberger would get mad if she said so.
Police interviewed Lindenberger Sept. 3 and said he admitted to inappropriate contact on one occasion. He told police he was checking an irritation the girl told him about. Lindenberger said after the incident, he “snapped out of it” and apologized to her.
Lindenberger’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
