A Cranberry Township woman was sentenced to probation in county court Thursday, after being charged alongside two others with theft from several vehicles.

Kelly Wolfarth, 22, was sentenced to 36 months of probation by President Judge Thomas Doerr.

She also was ordered to pay court costs, $200 in fines and restitution of more than $5,200, to complete 100 hours of community service and continue with counseling.

Wolfarth previously pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property before Judge Timothy McCune on Dec. 5.

She was initially charged with 72 counts — including two felony counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit access device fraud, 54 counts of misdemeanor receiving stolen property, 12 counts of theft from a motor vehicle, and two counts of access device fraud — after incidents in Jefferson Township between Aug. 12 and 15, 2016, alongside David W. Eberhardt, 26, of Slippery Rock and Jason P. Shilling, 26, of Butler following a string of vehicle break-ins.

The remaining counts were dismissed as part of the plea.

Wolfarth said since the incident she has “got my life back together,” staying clean and sober after participating in both inpatient and outpatient treatment since January 2017.

Her attorney, Armand Cingolani III, said he has a “good prediction for her future going forward.”

State police filed the charges against the three after an investigation into several vehicle break-ins.

Eberhardt previously pleaded guilty, admitting to breaking into several vehicles and stealing items, including purses, wallets, gift cards, bank cards, a bag, shoes, beauty products, a camera, a laptop and a .380-caliber handgun and numerous other items.

Wolfarth acted as the pair's getaway driver, police said.

They were identified, police said, through video surveillance at a Sheetz convenience store in Butler and the Walmart in Butler Township, where they used some of the stolen credit cards.

Wolfarth admitted to being in possession of some of the items, including purses, wallets and credit cards during the plea hearing.

Eberhardt and Shilling were both also sentenced to probation in this case.
