Four hours of winter fun are planned at Moraine State Park’s Pleasant Valley Beach on Feb. 10.

Registration for the Frosty Feet 5K, which will see runners traverse the Sunken Garden Trail, will be held at 9 a.m. and the race will begin an hour later.

Those not running can warm themselves by the fire and enjoy the fare from the Chili Cook-off at 11 a.m.

More daring individuals can participate in Douse for the House, which is a noon plunge into the frigid lake to benefit the Moraine Preservation Fund and Habitat for Humanity of Lawrence County.

Music by a DJ and children’s games will round out the activities for the event, which ends at 1 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the race winners, fundraisers, costumes and the best chili.

Pleasant Valley Beach is on Moraine’s south shore.
