Slippery Rock University has won six national Educational Digital Marketing Awards.

The University Communication and Public Affairs Office earned four awards, including a pair of Gold Awards for the official website of Rock Athletics, www.rockathletics.com, and its 2016 holiday video card.

UCPA also earned a Silver Award for the university’s official website, www.sru.edu; and a Bronze Award for the 2017 “Mascot Madness: Rocky’s Campaign III” social media campaign, spearheaded by Darcy White, director of web communication and development.

The university also earned a Gold Award for its official Instagram (slipperyrockuniversity) account; and a Merit Award for the Office of Enrollment Management-managed Twitter account, @slipperyrocku.

Higher Education Marketing Report sponsors the EDMAs. This year, more than 1,000 entries were received from colleges, universities and secondary schools from across the country.

Gold awards were granted to 147 institutions and silver awards were awarded to 86 institutions.

Judges for the EDMAs consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of HEMR.
