There will be a gathering after Christmas at the overdose memorial on Main Street to remember the 84 county residents lost to addiction this year.

There will be a candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at the memorial site. Event organizers are calling for unity in this time of reflection.

[naviga:h3]No injuries reported in 2-vehicle crash[/naviga:h3]

BUTLER TWP — No injuries were reported in a two-car accident on New Castle Road that backed up traffic Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Township police responded to the accident, which occurred on New Castle Hill in front of the state police barracks, according to Butler County emergency services.
