MANOR TWP, Armstrong Co. — Charges have been filed against a Chicora man following a robbery at Bi-Low Beer Distributor in McGrann.

Police said they charged Christopher Leroy Anthony, 34, with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and harassment. The charges were filed Monday before a district judge.

Daniel Kline, 54, of Ford City, had just closed the beer distributor Wednesday and was attempting to ride home on a bicycle when he was allegedly assaulted. Anthony allegedly knocked Kline to the ground and grabbed a bank bag that Kline had dropped before fleeing the scene.

Police did not say how much money was in the bag.

Anthony’s location is currently unknown and he is being sought by police. Anthony has ties with areas in Butler, Allegheny, Armstrong and Westmoreland counties. Anyone with information regarding Anthony’s location is advised to contact their nearest police department.
