Brian Charles McCarrier
Brian Charles McCarrier, 52, of Butler passed away Sunday at VNA Inpatient Hospice after a courageous battle with melanoma.
He was born Oct. 19, 1963, in Grove City to William L. McCarrier and Irene M. (Trabert) McCarrier.
Brian graduated from Moniteau High School in 1981. He then attended Anderson University, where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting and business management.
Brian was a co-owner with his brother, Bill, of the Interstate Pipe and Supply Co. He was a CPA and partner with his wife, Deanna, at McCarrier CPAs. He was on the board of directors of Farmers National Bank of Emlenton for nearly 20 years. Brian also served on the boards of Lifesteps, Family Guidance and the Butler YMCA.
Brian attended Butler Community Alliance Church, where he was able to share his passion about Christian financial principles with others. He had a passion for studying God's word and for reading and learning about leadership in business. Brian greatly enjoyed taking long walks with his wife throughout their married life. Brian was deeply committed to his family and loved supporting his children's endeavors.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna K. McCarrier, who he married June 1, 1985; one son, Ian C. McCarrier; two daughters, Beth I. McCarrier and Hannah L. McCarrier; two brothers, William McCarrier Jr. and his wife, Ruth, and John McCarrier and his wife, Karen; three sisters-in-law, Cherie Green and her husband, Randy, Krista Valdes Zamora and her husband, Mario, and Kara Sanders; five nieces, Lauren McCarrier, Jessica McCarrier, Danae Green, Natalia Valdes Zamora and Citlalli Valdes Zamora; one great niece, Zoey McCarrier; three nephews, Matthew McCarrier and his wife, Pam, Talor Green and Druw Sanders; and one great nephew, Bralyn Green.
MCCARRIER — Friends of Brian Charles McCarrier, who died Sunday, April, 10, 2016, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler.The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Dr. Dennis L. Krajacic of Community Alliance Church, the Rev. Steve Chiles of Oklahoma City and the Rev. Matthew McCarrier officiating.A private burial will take place at North Side Cemetery.The family requests memorial donations be made to Penn Christian Academy, 199 W.
