M. Louise Lunn, 82, of Prospect passed away peacefully Sunday evening with her family by her side at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Aug. 1, 1932, in Portersville, Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Celia Owrey Twentier.

She was a 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, where she was a member of her Sunday school class and belonged to Keenagers. In recognition of her community service with Keenagers, in January 2011 she was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow from the Portersville Prospect Rotary. She enjoyed being the trip coordinator for Keenagers Senior Group and ended every trip with “If you see someone without a smile — stop and give them one of yours!”

When her children were younger, she enjoyed being the president of PTA at the former Prospect Elementary School, president of the Slippery Rock Football Mothers’ Club, a Sunday school teacher at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect and a den mother for the Prospect Boys Scouts.

Her love of travel took her through 49 States, Australia, Mexico and Canada. In addition to traveling, she enjoyed reading, painting, sports, camping, teaching and making ceramics at her house, and her many friends.

Louise is survived by her loving family: Kathleen (Tom) Double of Renfrew, Diane (Gary) Clouse of Portersville, Patty (Kenneth) Snodgrass of Tucson, Ariz., Dale (Chris) Lunn of Portersville, Dave (Salley) Lunn of Slippery Rock; 10 grandchildren, Amy, Paula, Erin, Jodie, Deanna, Brandi, Cody, Craig, Kourtnee and Kelsey; and 11 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Michael, Sydney, Emma, Andrew, Lauren, Sophie, Olivia, Madelyn and Gabriella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wilbert J. Lunn, who she married Aug. 26, 1950, and who passed away Oct. 12, 1997; granddaughter Amanda Snodgrass; two sisters, Adda Young and Estele Nevin; and two brothers, Lawrence Twentier and Harry Twentier.

LUNN — Family and friends of M. Louise Lunn, who died Sunday, April 26, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.A viewing will be at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, 1297 Perry Highway, Portersville, with the Rev. Dan Opp, her church pastor, officiating.
