Prison visitor accused of giving peep show

Woman charged with exposure

A Beaver County woman allegedly gave a peep show to an inmate in the visitation room at the Butler County Prison.

Latisha J. Bryant, 30, of Aliquippa exposed her breasts, buttocks and genitalia while visiting Jereme Johnson on March 9, Butler County detectives said.

The alleged acts were done while Bryant’s 17-month-old daughter was just inches away.

Detectives on Friday charged Bryant after reviewing surveillance video of the visitation session. She was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors and indecent exposure, and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Investigators said Bryant appeared at the prison about 9:30 a.m. and on one side of the visitation glass exposed her breasts and pulled down her pants as Johnson, on the other side of the glass, looked on, according to court documents.

At one point, authorities said, Bryant turned away from the inmate and while bent over “slapped her buttocks with both hands,” documents said.

“The (correctional officers) saw what happened and kicked her out,” Detective Tim Fennell said.

Prison officials the next day turned over the surveillance video to detectives.

Investigators on Thursday notified Bryant after reviewing the surveillance video. She allegedly admitted wrongdoing and apologized.

“(She) stated she could not believe that she did that,” detectives said in an affidavit filed with the charges.

Fennell noted that Butler County Children Child and Youth Services was told as part of the investigation.
