Moniteau adds Act 80 days to end of school year as snow makeup days

CHERRY TWP — The Moniteau School Board on Monday night approved a change in the district calendar to have two Act 80 days at the end of the school year on June 5 and 8.

Teachers and staff will have professional development on those days but there will be no classes for students. These days will fulfill the need to make up snow days. Moniteau schools had been closed eight days due to weather this school year.

The other snow makeup days already scheduled are March 30 and 31; April 1, 2 and 6; and May 22.

The graduation day, June 4, will not change.
