WASHINGTON TWP — The American Red Cross was called to assist a family following a house fire Thursday evening.
Firefighters responded to the call in the 800-block of North Washington Road at about 5:50 p.m.
The structure was identified as a single-family home.
Although the structure was not destroyed, the American Red Cross was called to help the two adults and three children living in the home.
The family was not identified.
No one was injured.
Fire officials refused to comment further Thursday evening, saying an investigation still is ongoing.
In addition to North Washington Fire Department, firefighters from West Sunbury, Bruin and Marion Township responded. Petrolia Ambulance Service also assisted.
Crews were on the scene until 7:40 p.m.
