Seneca Valley graduate Hunter Williams was one of seven Slippery Rock University athletes honored by the PSAC for athlete of the week.

Williams, who is a member of The Rock’s 4x400-meter relay team — along with James Chandler, Monte Chapman and Jacob VanHouten — posted the sixth fasted time in Division II at the Youngstown State Invitational last week to earn Track Athlete of the Week.

Trevor Miller won Field Athlete of the week after winning the YSU Invitational with a throw of 16.76 meters in the shotput.

Butler graduate Jasmine Bailey was named track athlete of the week for her performance in three events. She recorded the fastest 200-meter time in the PSAC this year with 25.56 seconds.

Bailey also reached the PSAC standard in the 60-meter dash and ran a fast leg in The Rock’s 4x400 relay. Pole vaulter Kaitlyn Clark was named Field Athlete of the week. She placed second at YSU with a clearance of 3.65 meters.
