Christian music trio release 1st album

Brothers Luke, Adam and Levi Klutinoty of Butler moved to Nashville, Tenn., a couple years ago, signed up with a record label and now have released their first professional album, the self-titled “About a Mile.”

The Christian band About a Mile, made up of Butler natives Adam, Levi and Luke Klutinoty, has just released its first album with its record label, Word Entertainment in Nashville, Tenn.

The name About A Mile comes from research that figured out Jesus carried the cross “about a mile.”

The Klutinoty brothers moved to Nashville at the beginning of 2012, said Luke, the youngest.

“Levi and I were working at a factory from 10 at night to 6 a.m. for about a year,” he said.

“Adam was writing songs, and we were helping write songs too, but he was the one out there working with people.”

Luke, who is 22, plays bass, Levi, 25, plays drums and Adam, 24, plays guitar and sings lead vocals. Luke and Levi add background vocals.

They are the sons of Dave and Terri Klutinoty of Butler.

All 12 tracks on the self-titled album are original. The first single from the album is called “Satisfied” and is being played on Christian radio stations.

The album is available in both CD and digital formats and by individual songs as well.

Now the trio is touring extensively, though not anywhere close to home just yet.

“They’ve been having a great time of it; they’re working hard,” said their dad.

More information about the album and where the band is touring is available at AboutaMile.com.
