New episode: ‘Alter Eagle’ host shares personal story
“Alter Eagle,” an original Butler Eagle podcast, will explore host Laura Crago’s personal experience with mental health in a new episode Monday, April 29.
The podcast currently features episodes exploring addiction and recovery in Butler County — as well as a four-episode miniseries highlighting Butler County issues on Capitol Hill. New episodes release every Monday and are available at alter-eagle.com and major streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
The podcast’s 14th episode features host Crago sitting down with her therapist Whitney Thompson, based in Butler County.
Thompson, also a therapist for BetterHelp, discusses Crago’s personal struggle with mental health — leading her back to her hometown. Crago also emphasizes the value and importance of therapy.
“I always encourage people, ‘Hey, just give it a try,’” Crago said. “It might just take a few tries to find the right therapist.”
