9:10 p.m. Wednesday —Police cited two men following a fight in the parking lot of the A-Plus store on West Jefferson Street. A store clerk saw the fight and called authorities when a gun was spotted in a waistband of one of the suspects.Frederick J. Kutsch, 30, of Slippery Rock has a carry permit for the .357-caliber revolver.Police said Kutsch and his cousin, Braden J, Yartz Jr., 20, of Butler, acknowledged they were in a fight with other men who fled before officers got there. No injuries were reported.Kutsch told police that he never pulled or intentionally displayed his gun. He and Yartz are charged with disorderly conduct.Tuesday — Police filed felony and misdemeanor drug charges against Angie M. Bervinkle, 33, of Butler stemming from a Dec. 7 search of her North McKean Street apartment by Butler County probation officers.The search turned up two baggies of marijuana, according to police. The bags contained a combined 31.8 grams of marijuana. Bervinkle admitted the bags of marijuana belonged to her.Bervinkle, who is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, is free on her own recognizance.

6:49 p.m. Wednesday — One person was hurt in a three-vehicle collision at Whitestown and South Eberhardt roads. The crash happened when a car driven by Donald Thompson, 44, of Boyers ran a red light and hit a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck.Beth Warheit, 27, of Butler was driving the SUV. Lynn Reott, 55, of Butler was driving the pickup. A passenger in the truck, who police did not identify, was taken to Butler Memorial with undisclosed injuries.Thompson was cited for a red light violation.Wednesday — Police charged Stephanie Ann Williams, 30, of Liverpool, Ohio, with felony drug possession after she was allegedly caught Feb. 12 hiding someone else's medication, a controlled substance, at Butler Memorial Hospital.Williams is charged with acquisition of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.Wednesday — Ronald L. Tejchman, 29, of Butler is accused of drugged driving after he drove away from the Butler Memorial Hospital in a suspected impaired condition about 10:50 p.m. Feb. 25.Police later found the suspect after finding his car parked on Kendall Avenue near Peterson Avenue. The recent results of a blood test showed the presence of THC, the hallucinogen found in marijuana, and buprenorphine, a drug commonly used to treat heroin addiction.Tejchman is charged with multiple counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle without valid inspection.

4:39 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Mark A, Weidner, 33, of Pittsburgh rear-ended another car on Route 228 at the Interstate 79 south on-ramp in Cranberry Township. Faith Swasey, 61, of Oakdale, Allegheny County was the other driver.9:06 a.m. Thursday — Thomas E. Agostino, 45, of Slippery Rock was seriously injured when the car he was driving struck the back of a Mack truck on Route 8 in Center Township. Agostino, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital before being flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.Agostino, whose condition was not known this morning, faces a ticket for careless driving. George A. Guntrum, 66, of Summerville, Jefferson County, was driving the truck.2:45 p.m. Wednesday — No one was injured when a car driven by a Cranberry Township teen collided with a school bus on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. There were 35 passengers, all from Cranberry Township, on the bus driven by Olivia M. Bizub, 51, of Rochester, Beaver County.Five of the bus passengers were 18 years old, one was 19 years old and the rest were juveniles.Tyler D. Katich, no age given, who was driving the car, was cited for a lane violation.

7:35 p.m. Thursday — A Cabot man driving a motorcycle was arrested on Route 28 in Springdale Township, Allegheny County, after leading police on a chase that reached speeds of 130 mph in a 55 mph zone. Police said 33-year-old James F. Johns faces charges including fleeing or attempting to elude police and speeding.Thursday — A thief stole the Pennsylvania trailer license XGS-4633 from a boat vehicle at a home on Pony Farm Road in North Buffalo Township. The theft happened between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
