Ponteri Sr.

Joseph A. Ponteri Sr., 93, of Cranberry Township died Saturday.

He was the beloved husband for 69 years of Antonette (Benvenuto) Ponteri; loving father of Celeste Bullian (Joseph) of Cranberry Township and the late Joseph A. Ponteri Jr.; and the brother of Elvera Steinmiller of Avalon and the late Earl and Daniel Ponteri, Catherine Quinn and Josephine Scotti. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a retired self-employed accountant and a World War II Army veteran.

He was a former member of the Cranberry Lions Club and the Bellevue Knights of Columbus and the ISDA.

<B>PONTERI </B>— Visitation for Joseph A. Ponteri Sr., who died Saturday, May 15, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday at the <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, 724-772-8800. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, Cranberry Township.
