Michael Lindt

Michael Lindt, 83, of Eau Claire passed away Wednesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He had been a resident of the Parker Personal Care Facility for the past several months.

Born Dec. 20, 1926, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Godavecz) Lindt.

He was raised in Higgins Corners and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1945.

After serving as a motor pool mechanic in the U.S. Army, Mike worked as a mechanic for Keck's Chrysler in Butler and also J.M. Beatty's of Eau Claire.

Mike was a 32nd degree Mason in the New Castle Consistory and a member of the Emlenton Radio Control Club.

He is survived by his brother, George Lindt of San Jose, Calif.; four nephews, George Rodgers of Suffield, Conn., Jim Rodgers of Maryville, Conn., Steve Lindt of San Jose, Calif., and Don Lindt of San Jose, Calif.; a niece, Marge Rodgers Murphy of Hendersonville, N.C.; seven great-nephews; and three great-nieces.

In an addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lindt Rodgers.

<B>LINDT </B>— Friends of Michael Lindt, who died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Main Street, Eau Claire. Funeral services will immediately follow at 5 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Brent McMasters officiating.
