Frederick "Fred" W. Schuller, 64, kept his oceanfront reservation in heaven April 15.

He was born in Pittsburgh, lived in Cranberry Township for 20 years, moved to Florida 17 years ago and lived in Palm Bay, Fla., for the last two years.

He was a Roman Catholic.

Before retirement, he was a land surveyor in Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Schuller.

He touched many people'slives during his lifetime and had a great admiration and respect for all military persons since he served in the Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen (Price) Schuller, his daughter, Tech. Sgt. Kandyce Carrender, U.S. Air Force, his son, Frederick "Bud" W. Schuller Jr., son-in-law, Master Sgt. Tony Carrender, U.S. Air Force, and granddaughter, Kayla Carrender, all living in Florida; his mother, Mary Alice Schuller and adopted sister, Linda Schuller, both living in Pittsburgh; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Price) Lynch, living in Florida, his sister-in-law, Rebecca (Price) Silva and her husband, Rudy Silva of Texas, a nephew, Chad Anderson and a niece, Katie Anderson, family friend, Garry Anderson, an aunt, Lorraine Berenda and a cousin Joseph Berenda, all of Pittsburgh; and his extended family, the Schlotts of Harmony.

He would want to be remembered as a man who thoroughly enjoyed his family and friends and made the best of every bump in the road he took. He never gave up without a fight. His smile and quiet way will be missed by everyone who knew him.
