SR man, 19, faces child porn charges
SLIPPERY ROCK — A Slippery Rock man waived his right Tuesday to a hearing on charges of child pornography and sexual abuse.
Jordan Jerome Stanford, 19, was arrested Nov. 10 after an undercover operation by a state police computer crime unit that started investigating him July 24, according to the police report.
State police identified a computer used by Stanford that had child pornography online.
When his computer was seized Sept. 3, it was found to have movies and images, which allegedly included two local juveniles who have been identified.
Stanford is charged with two counts of sexual abuse of children, tampering with physical evidence and criminal use of a communication facility.
According to court documents, one of the videos shows a nude girl who appears to be about 10 years old.
Documents say 15 movie files that depict child pornography were found on the computer, along with 75 images of child pornography and four pornographic images of a 15-year-old that were created by Stanford.
He admitted to downloading pornography and taking pictures of the two juveniles, according to court documents.
During the search of the computer, it also was found Stanford allegedly had deleted child pornographic files from his computer just before police arrived Sept. 3 at his home.
