The Butler junior high boys basketball team kicked off its Pine-Richland Summer League action with a pair of wins after suffering a season-opening loss.
Deer Lakes defeated Butler 34-29 despite 13 points from Thomas Jendesky last week.
Butler then routed Deer Lakes Gold 42-15 as Lucas Wesolek, Chandler Harvey and Cory Wheeler each tallied eight points.
Against Hampton in a 64-13 decision, Wesolek had 18 points, Jendesky 16 and Richard Marnic 10 to pace Butler.
