Norma Jean Geibel, 76, of Butler died at 10:06 a.m. Monday in the Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

She was born May 26, 1932, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harold Milton Mahoney and Opal Lou Ellen Smith Mahoney.

She was a member of the St. Wendelin Catholic Church.

Norma retired from Magnetics, and she enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking and going to casinos.

She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Happy Hunters.

Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Bergbigler Johns and her husband, Scott Johns, of Butler and Patty Geibel of Butler; two sons, Kenneth G. and his wife, Cathy Geibel, and Lenny J. Geibel of Butler; six grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and her twin sisters, Mrs. Edward (Donna) Connor of Butler and Mrs. Homer (Doris) Smith of Hot Springs, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Edward A. Geibel; and a half-sister, Michelle Mahoney.

<B>GEIBEL </B>- Friends of Norma Jean Geibel, who died Monday, April 20, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
