John E. Simpson

Simpson

John E. Simpson, 78, of Renfrew died peacefully Monday.

Born April 13, 1931, in Butler, he was the son of the late John Raymond and Dorothy (Worch) Simpson.

He was a longtime farmer and operated his own sawmill and logging business. He also worked as a milk tester with Dairy One, formerly the Pennsylvania Dairy Herd Improvement Association, for 34 years.

He enjoyed calling square dances and dancing. He got a great deal of pleasure from seeing and working with strong draft horses and dairy cows. More than anything else, he loved working on his own farm.
