Butler's junior high boys lacrosse team suffered a 5-4 loss to Upper St. Clair Sunday at Art Bernardi Stadium.

Clay Bachman had two goals for the Golden Tornado with Will King and Korey Caudill adding one each. Tanner Kotch had three assists.

Butler plays Seneca Valley Thursday at Graham Park in Cranberry Township.

Northern Steel's under-13 girls team participated in the Great Lakes Alliance last weekend. Olivia Haeffner of Mars scored a goal in a 2-0 win over Empire USA . Northern Steel also lost, 2-1, to Empire United.In league action, Lauren Schillero of Seneca Valley scored in a 2-0 win over the Strikers.
