Tuesday — Police filed drunken driving charges against Ray Robinson, 62, of Butler, stemming from an alleged hit-and-run crash last week. Robinson is accused of hitting a minivan parked on Taylor Avenue, and leaving without notifying police. In addition to driving under the influence, he is charged with accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle.

2 p.m. Tuesday — Nicholas Brent Reges, 30, of Concord Township is accused of calling his ex-girlfriend's home on Litman Road several times and threatening to kill her. Reges is charged with terroristic threats and stalking.

11:20 a.m. Wednesday — Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at Burtner Road and Route 356 in Jefferson Township.Police said the crash occurred when a pickup truck driven by James J. Brenneman, 77, of Prospect struck a car driven by Cynthia Rochon, 28, of Cabot. The collision sent the pickup across the road and into a sport utility vehicle driven by Diane M. Morrison, 42, of Sarver.Brenneman, Morrison and June M. Brenneman, 82, of Prospect, a passenger in the pickup, were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. James Brenneman was cited for careless driving.Wednesday — Police charged two Butler County men for attempting to steal a steel gate at the entrance to the Butler-Freeport Trail on Protzman Road in Summit Township.Mark Joseph Dawson, 26, of Summit Township and Michael Lee Wilbert, 24, of Clearfield Township allegedly used a hack saw and bolt cutters to remove the gate early Saturday morning.The men dragged the gate to a wooded area nearby and planned to take it away in Dawson's pickup. Police, however, thwarted the plan and arrested Wilbert at the scene. Dawson ran but on Sunday turned himself in to police, court documents said.Both suspects, who are charged with theft and criminal mischief, admitted wrongdoing, a police affidavit said.12:25 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Lynda A. Shaffer, 41, and Peretz Abramowitz, 32, both of Pittsburgh, collided on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. The collision spun Abramowitz's car into a guardrail.Shaffer was cited for careless driving.7 a.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by a 17-year-old Cranberry Township girl, who police did not identify, struck the rear of a car at the I-79 on ramp at Route 19 in Jackson Township. The girl was cited for failing to yield the right of way. Emily P. Eller, 18, of Zelienople was driving the car.Tuesday — Justin Paul Enslen, 21, of Connoquenessing Township faces a felony drug charge for allegedly selling crack cocaine to a police informant earlier this year.Enslen, according to court documents, sold about one-half gram of crack for $100 during a controlled drug buy Jan. 12 in the parking lot at the Greater Butler Mart.Police charged Enslen with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
