Frederick

Dorothy A. Barzen Frederick, 87, of Cranberry Township died Thursday.

Born April 11, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Max and Helen Heiser Barzen.

Mrs. Frederick was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Zelienople.

She enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Surviving are her loving husband, Robert G. Frederick, who she married Dec. 25, 1941; a daughter, Linda Smith and her husband, Arnold, of Cranberry Township; a son, Robert G. Frederick Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Allison and Fred Smith and Scott and Seth Frederick; and six great-grandchildren, Connor, Anna, Jason and Gracie Frederick and Thomas and Andrew Smith.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Max Barzen Jr.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Keplinger, her church pastor, officiating.
