Bono

Frank J. "Sparky" Bono, 92, of Worthington died Saturday at the Sugar Creek Rest after a short illness.

Born March 25, 1916, in Worthington, he was the son of James and Mary Trott Bono.

He had worked for Michigan Limestone in Worthington, the U.S. Steel Sintering Plant in Saxonburg and the Bakers Gas Co. in Worthington.

Mr. Bono was a member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville.

Surviving are three sons, William F. (Barbara) Bono of Butler, Richard A. (Beverly) Bono of Kittanning and Ronald L. (Cheryl) Bono of Worthington; three grandchildren, Mrs. Wendy Franceschi, Mrs. Justine Trotta and Mrs. Colby Frazer; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Rocco Bono, Frances Abranovich and Delores Bono, all of Worthington;

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Tierney Bono, who died Feb. 13, 2002; four brothers; and four sisters.

<B>BONO </B>— Friends of Frank J. "Sparky" Bono, who died Saturday, May 17, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B>, Worthington. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating.
