Clara F. Serafine, 90, of Chicora died Wednesday at her home of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 21, 1917, in Chicora, the daughter of Rinaldo Serafine and Anna Malacorne Serafine.

She worked for Butler Armco, now A.K. Steel, in Butler for 27 years and then worked in the admission of Butler Memorial Hospital for 17 years. She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, Chicora, and the altar-rosary society there.

She is survived by a nephew, David Serafine, and his wife, Karen, of Chicora; and four great-nephews, Chris, Nick, Jon and Mike Serafine, all of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Serafine, who died Wednesday, May 14, 2008.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at <B>Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church</B> with the Rev. Kenneth Kasmarski, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church, Coylesville, officiating. Burial will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
