Wynne

Mae R. Wynne, 79, of Lakewood Village, Vero Beach, Fla., died Thursday at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Born Aug. 27, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she moved to Vero Beach in 1980 from Olney, Md.

She was a hostess/waitress for the Vero Beach Yacht Club and was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

Surviving are three daughters, Susan Davies of Cranberry Township, Mary Bowling of Clayton, N.C., and Patti Vandale of Butler; two sons, Albert Schmidt, Ph.D., of Hopkinton, Mass., and Daniel Schmidt of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; one brother, Father Paschal Kneip, O.S.B., of Chincoteague Island, Va.; one sister, Carol Mason of Vero Beach; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wynne was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett J. Wynne; one daughter, Janet Schmidt; one son, Norman Schmidt, and three brothers, Arthur, John and Anthony Kneip.
