Mary Ann Mainhart, 86, formerly of East Butler, died Monday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born April 11, 1920, in West Winfield, she was a daughter of Anthony and Theresa Yalk Abranovich.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also belonged to the Croation Fraternal Union.

Surviving are her husband, Craig R. "Whitey" Mainhart, whom she married July 24, 1946; two sons, Robert D. Mainhart of Waldorf, Md., and Larry C. Mainhart of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Steward (Barbara Ann) Leister of Sellersville; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

A sister, Helen Mainhart of Chicora; a brother, Andrew Abranovich of Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
