Phyllis Kay Rodgers, 67, of New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center.

Born in Slippery Rock, Aug. 7, 1939, she was the daughter of Ruby Eddinger Christy of Greenville and the late LeMoyne Christy.

Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and a Protestant. She enjoyed working with flowers and greatly enjoyed arts and crafts.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul Wesley Rodgers, whom she married in 1957; two sons, Patrick and Perry Rodgers, both of Slippery Rock, and two daughters, Pam Long of Buffalo, N.Y., and Penny McClusky of Slippery Rock. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Larry Christy, and an infant sister, Joyce.

<B>RODGERS</B> — Friends of Phyllis Kay Rodgers, who died Sunday, March 4, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
