Leskovac

Mary Ann Leskovac, 88, formerly of West Salem Township, Mercer County, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City.

Born in Farrell, June 15, 1918, she was the daughter of Sandor and Mary Rajakovic Balaban.

She was a homemaker and had attended Farrell High School.

Mrs. Leskovac was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Greenville.

She was a volunteer at the former Greenville Regional Hospital for years and was involved with the Candy Stripers.

She enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading and baking and was an animal lover.

Surviving are four daughters, Beverly Stroup and her husband, Terry, of Chicora, Carol Shaw and her husband, Lewis, of Jamestown, Rosemary Leskovac of Grove City and Maria Cowher and her husband, Charles, of Magnolia, Texas; three sons, Michael Leskovac and his wife, Judy, and Paul Leskovac and his wife, Barb, all of Greenville, and Peter Leskovac and his wife, Wendy, of Acworth, Texas; a sister, Violet Sacco of Sharpsburg; 13 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Peter P. Leskovac, whom she married Oct 8, 1938, died Oct 5, 1991. Four brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.

High St., Greenville, with Monsignor Andrew Karg officiating.Burial will be at the St. Michael Cemetery, Greenville.Donations may be made to the St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N.
