Pamela Fritz Kamzalow, 60, of Craig, Colo., died Feb 17. She was a 27-year survivor of breast cancer and then was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June 2002.

Born Nov. 10, 1946, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Helen Ann Lawton Fritz and the late Ronald Fritz.

She was raised and attended school in Mars, where she graduated from high school and then attended Edinboro University.

While in Pennsylvania, she worked for the North Pittsburgh Telephone Co.

Mrs. Kamzalow and her family moved to Craig in December 1975, and she worked at Safeway for more than 20 years as a meat wrapper and then deli manager. She was a member of the food workers union, UCFW.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Craig.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, photography, camping, hunting, sightseeing, horses and was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are her husband, Nicholas J. Kamzalow, formerly of Bairdford, whom she married May 24, 1969, in Mars; two daughters, Dana Kirby and Valerie Kamzalow, both of Craig, and four grandchildren.

She also is survived by her mother, Helen Ann Fritz of Mars; sisters, Janice Sheaffer of Morningview, Ky., and Ronna Fritz of Butler; two nieces, and her mother-in-law, Mary Kamzalow of Russelton.

<B>KAMZALOW</B> — Pamela Fritz Kamzalow, who died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, will be buried at the family's property on Wilderness Ranch later.Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. March 17 at the First Congregational Church in Craig.
