Nulph

Wallace B. "Bing" Nulph, 93, of Concordia Lutheran Center formerly of Nulph Lane, died at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 8, 1913, in Templeton, he was the son of the late John Nulph and Lucinda Hankey.

He graduated from the East Brady High School and served in the Army's 67th Signal Repair Company during World War II. He served in Europe and Pacific and also spent six months in occupied Japan.

Mr. Nulph had been a welder for Pullman Standard and retired in 1975 after 20 years.

He was a member of the Christ Outreach Church. He was one of the organizers of the Blazing Star Camping Club and belonged to the AARP and the Butler American Legion.

Surviving are his second wife, Mary Williams Nulph; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Carol) McEvoy of Butler; three sons, David and Gary Nulph, both of Butler and Larry Nulph of Hagerstown, Md.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

He also is survived by two sisters, Lelia Revetti of Ellwood City and Mary Newton, Wampum.

His first wife, LaVere W. McGrody, died. Dec. 31, 1997. Seven sisters and eight brothers also preceded him in death.

<B>NULPH </B>— Friends of Wallace B. "Bing" Nulph, who died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Palmer, his church pastor, officiating.
