9:27 a.m. Thursday - Cars driven by Alisha Sellnar, 19, of Ford City, Armstrong County, and Tonya Krchelich, 26, of Butler collided at East Cunningham and Cliff streets. Sellnar was cited for a stop sign violation.2:42 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Summer Doctor, 17, of Summit Township struck the rear of a car driven by John Chuba, 36, of Mars, on New Castle Street. The collision pushed Chuba's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Richard Sarver, 85, of Butler Township.

8:56 p.m. Wednesday - A Butler man was seriously injured when the car he was driving struck the side of a cement bridge on New Castle Road near Route 422.Randy Holt, 41, was trapped inside the wreckage for about 20 minutes until Greenwood Village firefighters could free him. He was taken with leg and other body injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known this morning.

7:30 a.m. Thursday - A pickup truck driven by Sheridan Burgess, no age given, of Conway, Beaver County, skidded after traveling over a large puddle of water on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township and struck a tree.7 p.m. Wednesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Robert Freehling, 49, of Saxonburg skidded on rain-soaked Saxonburg Boulevard and crashed in Clinton Township.3:30 p.m. Wednesday - Vehicles driven by John Picolar, 33, of Wilkins Township and Joshua Wilson, 20, of Renfrew collided at Valencia and West roads in Forward Township.2:50 p.m. Wednesday - An unidentified red Chevrolet pickup truck struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle at Routes 488 and 19 in Portersville and did not stop. Jody Benninger, 43, of Portersville, who was driving the SUV and was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Saturday - A cell phone, several compact discs and a wallet were taken between 2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. from a vehicle at the Herman Fire Hall on Herman Road in Summit Township. Timothy Hortert and Tracy Main, both of Butler, own the stolen property.
