Listen to our founding fathers' advice

?When we Americans vote for people to represent us in our government, perhaps we could consider these attributes: Person, policies and party.

Delving into history and listening to our founding fathers’ advice would help.

Thomas Jefferson said, “There is no justification for taking away individuals freedom in the guise of public safety,” and “Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have.”

Also, Ben Franklin said, “Common sense without education, is better than education without common sense,” “Freedom is not a gift bestowed upon us by other men, but a right that belongs to us by the laws of God and nature,” and “Make yourself sheep and the wolves will eat you.”

Many quotes from our past patriots are both wise and tried.

History repeats itself simply because human nature stays the same.
