I’m having a difficult time reconciling the 180-degree difference between my perception of recent events and those of some other writers here.

The caustic vitriol spewed freely from former President Trump’s opponents is amazing. Is it theatre? Is it pied-pipering? Is it to incite?

My observations of politics is not looking for heroes or pseudo-parents, but just please take care of business.

Please use my tax money to provide the necessary public services for our civil society. With today’s electronic media, we are witness to the sausage-making of those services and their administration.

Former President Trump, or President Joe Biden, are just symptoms in my opinion. State and local governments are where things happen that touch our lives in a personal way.
