The free spay and neuter clinic for cats set for 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in the Butler Farmers' Market Building is filled. There are 48 people on the waiting list.

The clinic was made possible by a grant from the Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare.

Sponsor Community Cat Network hopes to have additional free clinics each month.

The Peter J. Oesterling annual family reunion has been canceled for 2020. Always scheduled for the second Saturday in August, this year's reunion will not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Plans are in the works for Aug. 7, 2021, reunion in the Slippery Rock area.
