KC grad Kamenski 2nd in hurdles event

LOS ANGELES — Karns City graduate and Westminster College senior Anthony Kamenski placed second in the 110-meter hurdles at the Twilight Open Meet at California State University on Thursday.

His time was 15.25 seconds. Kamenski also placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.50.

SV grad Swedish gets scholar honor

TRAFFORD — Seneca Valley graduate Hunter Swedish, a junior on the Washington & Jefferson College wrestling team, has been named a Presidents’ Athletic Conference Scholar All-America honoree.

Swedish was selected to the first team.
