LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University’s women’s lacrosse team is picked for a fourth-place finish in the PSAC West in the coaches’ preseason poll.

SRU returns two-time all-conference player Rachel Shaw.

Mercyhurst, Seton Hill and Indiana (Pa.) are picked first through third. Lock Haven, Gannon and Edinboro round out the West Division poll.

West Chester is picked to win the PSAC East.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock High School boys basketball team (3-19) will host General McLane (15-7) in a District 10 Classs 4A playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday.

The winner plays Harbor Creek in the next round Feb. 20.
