[naviga:h3]SRU soccer picked 5th in PSAC poll[/naviga:h3]

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team has been picked to finish fifth out of 17 teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference preseason poll.

The Rock has produced 22 consecutive winning seasons, including a 10-6-2 mark and PSAC Tournament appearance last year.

West Chester is picked to win the league, followed by East Stroudsburg, Kutztown and Gannon.

[naviga:h3]Fuhrman joining SV as assistant A.D.[/naviga:h3]

JACKSON TWP — Dave Fuhrman was appointed as athletic/activities assistant director at Seneca Valley High School.

Fuhrman has served as athletic director at Bradford Area High School the past two years. He was junior varsity boys basketball and softball coach there as well.

Fuhrman replaces Dan Follett, who left earlier this summer to become athletic director at Slippery Rock High School.
