GCC grad Rabenold earns All-AcademicGROVE CITY — Recent Grove City College graduate Emily Rabenold has earned second team NCAA Division III Academic All-America honors in cross country/track and field.The Hampton graduate was a three-time Presidents’ Athletic Conference MVP in cross country. She compiled a 3.91 grade point average in attaining a biology degree.GCC has produced 45 Academic All-Americans in its history, including 26 since 2002.

North Dakota unveils new logoGRAND FORKS, N.D. — The University of North Dakota unveiled the logo for its new Fighting Hawks nickname and called on its popular football coach to help promote the change from the school’s controversial Fighting Sioux moniker.The new logo depicts a white hawk head with black shading and a black eye, atop the angular letters “ND” in green.
